There’s nothing like a coffee and cinnamon bun on a sunny Saturday morning in the Kilruddery farmer’s market. And, amongst all the stall there’s one of my favourites, The Sally Garden. A riot of colour or soft county washes, her wild flowers are a joy to look at and enjoy. However, if you look closely, you’ll see that Sally, being the creative person she is, has peppered the flower arrangements with finds on her travels, or just simple props such as wooden fruit crates. It’s the combination of both, that really gives her a point of difference and of course serves as a great talking point when musing on what to buy.
